New designs for a children's hospice supporting families in Haringey, Barnet and Camden have been revealed.
The designs for the new Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice have been revised after collaboration between the charity, families and local community group and are now awaiting council permission.
They include six children’s beds two bereavement suites and three family bedrooms.
Ru Watkins, chief executive of the charity, said: “We are determined to ensure the hospice offers the best possible care and support for our children and their families. We know, thanks to the input of everyone, that these new plans fit the bill perfectly and will help the charity into the future.
“We want Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice to become an integral part of the community and something that local residents are proud to be part of.”
The charity are holding an Open House day tomorrow at the Byng Road site in Barnet and are encouraging residents to go along to discuss the plans with the hospice team.
The event runs from 1.00pm to 8.00pm.
