Camden and Islington NHS Trust have recruited Angela McNab as the new Chief Executive as Wendy Wallace steps down.

Ms McNab will take over the trust, which is responsible for Highgate Mental Health Centre, St Pancras Hospital and community services in Camden and Islington on April 20.

Ms McNab said she was “delighted” to be joining the trust. “There are some really exciting developments to progress and I am looking forward to working with staff, service users and our partners in the community to make sure we deliver the best possible services to all those who need them.”

The NHS trust’s Chair, Leisha Fullick, said: ”We are confident that Angela will use her extensive experience and knowledge to build on our successes and help us to meet our challenges”.

Ms McNab previously worked at Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust, which provides mental health services across the county, as well as being as Director of Public Health at the Department of Health.
