A RADIO disc jockey at the Whittington Hospital has been nominated for a national award.
DJ Eddie K, who also works as a security guard at the Highgate Hill hospital, has been playing his reggae records to patients for years.
Now there is a chance he could take home one of the top prizes at the Hospital Broadcasting Association awards in March.
He said: "I'm really pleased - I've been working really hard over the last three or four years and it's fantastic news that groups like the HBA are starting to sit up and take notice.
