Highgate Private Hospital has opened a new state-of-the-art imaging suite, promising to offer patients a faster and more flexible service.

The new diagnostic suite, which measures 2,500sp ft, is an extension to the existing hospital in View Road, Highgate.

The hospital will now be able to offer 3 and 4D ultrasound, digital X-ray services and computed tomography - which uses X-rays and a computer to create detailed images of the inside of a body.

Mark Lyons, director at Highgate Private Hospital, said: “Patients will now be able to have their outpatient consultation and then walk through to the new imaging suite where, in many cases, they may be able to be scanned on the same day.

“Our aim is to tailor our services to fit in with people’s lifestyles.”
