Highgate’s Paul Colley and two friends completed the RideLondon-Surrey 100 bike ride on July 29, raising over £2,000 for the charity Victim Support.

Paul and friends Dominic Turner and Will Roberts finished the 100 mile course in just under five hours on a wet and windy day.

Paul said: “I’m really pleased with our time, especially given the weather conditions which didn’t manage to slow us down!

“Having friends and family who have volunteered and worked for Victim Support, I knew it was a great cause to raise money for. Not only were we able to raise money to help provide much needed practical and emotional support for victims of crime, but it also helped us to raise awareness of the charity.”

Tanya Richardson, from Victim Support who work with victims of crime, said: “We are extremely grateful to Paul, Dominic and Will for all their fundraising efforts. Their money raised will go a long way in helping us to support victims of all crime across England and Wales.”
