A HEALTHY hearts programme to give people an MOT for their bodies is now on offer in Camden.

The programme - a winning entry last year from the Dragons' Den-style Innovation Fund - is being launched at the Al Rahman Mosque in Crowndale Road.

Dr Devi Nair, from the Royal Free Hospital's team carrying out the checks, said: "Small changes now can make a big difference to people's future health.

"This project provides a way of checking if people will have heart problems later in life. By detecting risk factors early and doing something about it, problems are less likely to develop later on."

The health check is available on Wednesdays and includes blood pressure checks, blood sugar and cholesterol tests.
