Health Secretary's son arrested on cocaine charges in Camden
The son of the former Health Secretary Patricia Hewitt has been charged by police for possession of cocaine. Nicholas Hewitt Birtles, a 21-year-old retail sales rep was stopped by police on Saturday night in Camden Square not far from his parent s home. M
The son of the former Health Secretary Patricia Hewitt has been charged by police for possession of cocaine.
Nicholas Hewitt Birtles, a 21-year-old retail sales rep was stopped by police on Saturday night in Camden Square not far from his parent's home.
Mr Hewitt Birtles was taken to Kentish Town Police Station where he was later charged for possession of a class A drug. He was released on bail and is due to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court on September 30.
A second man was arrested and has been bailed to return to police on November 6 pending the analysis of a seized substance.

Ms Hewitt, 60, is standing down as Labour MP for Leicester West at the next election.
A spokesman for Ms Hewitt said: "This is a private matter that the family are dealing with.
