More than 43 per cent of Highgate’s electorate cast their votes at polling stations across the ward in the Haringey Council election yesterday, a drop of more than one per cent since 2010.
Overall turnout across Haringey was 38.1 per cent yesterday, down more than 20 per cent on 2010’s election.
In Highgate, turnout stood at 43.71, a drop of 1.37 per cent on 2010.
Alexandra ward had by far the highest voter turnout yesterday with 49.38 per cent of registered voters heading to the polls.
