More than 100 people turned up for the latest meeting of the Hampstead Neighbourhood Forum at the weekend.
About 120 residents filled St Stephen’s in Rosslyn Hill, Hampstead, on Sunday to discuss topics from housing and traffic to conservation, and to float ideas about preserving and improving the area.
The forum is being set up under the Localism Act by campaigners who hope to play a part in shaping the future of Hampstead.
Residents were joined by representatives from two squats that opened in recent weeks, at the former police station in Rosslyn Hill and a vacant bar in Heath Street, who were keen to meet members of the community.
