Estate agents aren’t exactly well-known for being places of festive cheer and yuletide glee.
However, children in Hampstead have transformed one such establishment near their school with drawings of colourful Christmas crackers.
Pupils aged between five and 11 at Hampstead Parochial School in Holly Bush Vale got out their best crayons and colouring pencils to take part in a Christmas drawing competition run by Hamptons International estate agents in Heath Street.
Lara Bruno, 10, was crowned winner of the Draw a Christmas Cracker contest last week, while Peter Horgan, five, won the Decorate a Christmas Cracker competition. They both won an art kit and their school received a £200 donation.
The children’s entries will decorate the estate agents throughout the festive period, to remind potential buyers it is the season to be jolly (and to perhaps get a new home).
