The Proms at St Jude’s Music & Literary Festival will offer attendees more than just music and literature.
The Festival, for which the Ham&High is media partner, will take place between June 20 and 28 and will also offer expert-led walks illustrating the significance of Hampstead Garden Suburb in the history of architecture and town planning.
Thomas Radice, a trustee of the Festival said: “Our walks explore many facets of the Suburb and its links.
“There is a tour of Golders Green Crematorium with its fine listed buildings, beautiful gardens and famous names commemorated there, and a walk around old Hampstead explores the lives of authors, poets, artists and scientists.”
Apart from the two in central London, walks are arranged so people can go on to enjoy the free lunchtime concerts and other afternoon events. For more details or to book tickets, costing £8 to £10, visit the website or call 020 3322 8123.
