PLANS to completely revamp the Parliament Hill area of Hampstead Heath have been unveiled by the City of London Corporation.
The draft Masterplan would transform the area over the next 20 years, making it more attractive to those living to the south and restoring a 'countryside in the city' atmosphere, according to Corporation chiefs.
It will involve building a 'Heath Life Centre' and an improved cafe, removing buildings and laying a new access way for vehicles from Gordon House Road.
New fences, signs and benches are also planned.
