Hampstead Community Centre will be celebrating their fortieth anniversary this weekend, with a special market.

On Saturday November 25, from 10am-4.30pm there will be a festive market with food stalls, antiques, books, vintage craft, face painting, as well as a café and music.

Entrance is free, and there will be free mulled wine from 3pm-4pm.

The building started life as a coach house, and then a garage after. It was then taken over by the community and turned into the centre in 1977.

Emma Brooks, Market Manager from Hampstead Community Centre, who also leads children’s activities encouraged people to go to the market this weekend. “It’ll be a great celebration of forty years with something for all the family. Come and support your local stalls.”
