Four suspected burglars who raided a Hampstead clothes shop and threw a hammer at a pursuing police car are still on the run.
Police said the suspects smashed the front window of the Heath Street shop at about 2.25am before taking expensive items and fleeing in a car.
The suspects escaped in the car after throwing a hammer at a pursuing police vehicle, but a spokesman for the Met said no significant damage was reported to its vehicle.
After evading police in the November 8 chase, the car was found abandoned two days later in a car park in Balham.
No arrests have been made, but enquiries continue.
