It is caretaker boss Stewart Houston's second win in two games since taking charge following the shock sacking of the Scot, who is the subject of bung allegations. The rejuvenated Paul Merson had given the Gunners the lead at Selhurst Park before Kiwomya's late show.
The win pushes Arsenal up into eighth place in the table. Meanwhile, the Gunners board issues a statement saying it is in no hurry to appoint a full-time successor.
