Stand-in skipper Ian Wright enjoys his first victory leading the side, 1-0 at Nottingham Forest, courtesy of a Dennis Bergkamp strike.
The striker is holding the fort while Tony Adams recovers from a knee operation. He says: I take the job very seriously because it is an honour for me.
"But I'm ready to step down as captain as soon as big Tony comes back from his knee operation - and I hope that is sooner rather than later, because he means so much to us.'
