Meanwhile, Arsene Wenger got a standing ovation at the club's AGM after admitting he wanted to stay at the club.
'I'm very happy here at the moment. I know the directors want me to stay and I don't see why we can't find an agreement," he told an audience of 2,000 shareholders and officials.
In the league, goals from Thierry Henry and Sylvinho earn Arsenal a 2-2 draw at winless Chelsea, who had led 2-0 through Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Gianfranco Zola.
