Goals from Stewart Robson, Charlie Nicholas and Tony Woodcock handed the Gunners their third victory of the season over their rivals, following league and cup victories at White Hart Lane. Steve Archibald scored the visitors' goals.
Afterwards Spurs boss Keith Burkinshaw said: "They (Arsenal) will be a team to be feared next season."
