Arsene Wenger conceded the title after a shocking 2-4 home loss to Manchester United.

"Overall, we have conceded too many goals this season to play for the championship," he said. "If you want to win games you cannot concede four goals at home. I think we are too far now. It is demoralising."

Meanwhile, Chelsea refused to deny that manager Jose Mourinho, chief executive Peter Kenyon and agent Pini Zahavi met Gunners defender Ashley Cole last week in breach of Premier League rules.
