Arsenal Ladies midfielder Karen Carney has confirmed she will move to Chicago Red Stars later this month ahead of the start of the Women's Professional Soccer League in April.
The 21-year-old (pictured right), who has scored 41 times in 91 appearances for the Gunners, signed from Birmingham Ladies in 2006.
Arsenal Ladies manager Vic Akers said this week: "I wish Karen well for her move.
"She knows that the door is always open for her here, however, should she ever wish to return. It would be a pleasure to have one of my best signings return."
