Hampstead were beaten by bottom club Guildford in an embarrassing English League premier division performance at Paddington Rec on Sunday.
The home side took an early lead through German striker Johannes Witt but it was Guildford who looked more threatening going forward.
And so it proved. The visitors deservedly equalised after 17 minutes with a well-worked short-corner, expertly put away by David Usher.
The scores remained level until half time as neither side could carve out further clear-cut chances.
In the second half, however, Guildford took control and the lead through Duncan Marsh.
Josh Smith then missed a good chance to level for Hampstead before Guildford grabbed a match-clinching third goal in the 65th minute.
