Motorbike collides with pedestrian in Highgate
A MOTORBIKE collided with a pensioner on Archway Road this morning bringing rush-hour traffic on the busy thoroughfare to a standstill.
The incident happened at 8.20am and police closed one southbound lane of the busy A1 while paramedics attended to the woman.
The 67-year-old was treated for minor injuries and a minor head injury and taken to the Royal Free Hospital.
A spokeswoman for the London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 8.20am to a road traffic collision involving a motorcyclist and a pedestrian.”
