POLICE have issued a photograph of man they wish to speak to in connection with the murder of an 83-year-old woman in north London. The woman s body was discovered at a property in Green Dragon Lane, Winchmore Hill, at 7.15pm on Easter Sunday (April 4).

A MAN detectives wanted to trace in connection with the murder of an 83-year-old woman has been arrested.

Detectives asked for the public’s help to find James Malcolm Langlands (pictured), who is also known as Jack, and who was last seen in north London.

The 26-year-old was arrested yesterday (Wednesday April 7) in the Peterborough area in connection with the death of his 83-year-old grandmother Doris Langlands.

Her body was discovered at a property in Green Dragon Lane, Winchmore Hill, at 7.15pm on Easter Sunday (April 4). She had suffered head injuries.

A spokeswoman for the police said: “James Malcolm Langlands (also known as Jack), 26, was arrested this afternoon in the Peterborough area. He is currently in custody at a Peterborough police station. Enquiries continue.”
