A tube station closed and the public evacuated today after staff found a suspicious package.
British Transport Police officers were called at 3.20pm after receiving reports of an item left at Golders Green underground station.
The station was evacuated and closed whilst a specialist unit dealt with what turned out to be a lost piece of luggage.
It reopened about 20 minutes after the false alarm.
