THE FUNERAL for a woman who championed the cause of the common people and was one of Camden Council's most vocal critics will be held on Friday.
A service for Ellen Luby, who died on July 14 aged 86, will be held at 1pm at the Islington and St Pancras Cemetery in High Road, East Finchley.
Ms Luby, of Rose Bush Court, in Parkhill Road, was an ardent critic of the council and campaigned most of her adult life for better housing.
Her obituary will appear in thursday's Ham&High.
