Author, journalist and historian Sir Max Hastings spoke about his new book to a packed house at the London Jewish Cultural Centre (LJCC).
The former Daily Telegraph editor-in-chief entertained a sell-out crowd at the LJCC, in Ivy House, North End Road, Golders Green, with a talk about his new book Catastrophe: Europe Goes To War 1914 on Tuesday last week.
It was part of the centre’s Meet the Historians series of talks at the LJCC which began in September with an appearance from acclaimed Second World War historian Antony Beevor.
LJCC chief executive Louise Jacobs welcomed Sir Max to the centre.
