ETHICS and the battle between good and evil are the difficult subjects under debate at the London Jewish Cultural Centre.
The Golders Green centre is tackling controversial subjects such as death in the name of Judaism, Islam and Christianity, witchcraft and heresy.
Leading academics will discuss the issues and tussle over morality in the modern world during the discussions from September 8 to 11 and September 15 to 18.
"This is about taking time out to explore where all our morality comes from," said the centre's chief executive, Trudy Gold.
"This is at the core of things like knife crime because it is asking whether there are any moral commandments.
"We have to discuss these ideas if we are going to make any difference."
