SOUTH End Green's new singing sensations the Fleet Singers performed a successful Christmas concert, filling out All Hallowes Church in Gospel Oak.

The choir, put together by former chairwoman of the South End Green Association Pam Gilby, performed alongside London's Barts Choir as well as choristers from Fleet School.

Dozens of people attended the show and took part in sing-a-long Christmas carols after enjoying refreshments of mulled wine and mince pies.

Ms Gilby said: "It went very well and was very well-attended. It was a fantastic concert. There were more than 180 people there.''
