THE world premiere reading of Stephen Berkoff's Biblical Stories will take place next week at the London Jewish Cultural Centre (LJCC) in Golders Green (May 23).
Samson and Delilah, Adam and Eve, and Moses and the Pharaoh are all re-imagined and brought to life for the 21st century in a series of short stories performed by a cast of actors directed by Mr Berkoff.
The performance is at the Ivy House, North End Road at 7.30pm and tickets are 10. The show contains adult material and is not for the faint-hearted. To book call 0870-033 2733 or visit newendtheatre.co.uk.
The event is part of a week long London Jewish Performing Arts Festival at the centre - a joint initiative between the LJCC and Hampstead's New End Theatre.
