Firefighters had to cut the roof off a wrecked BMW to rescue an injured driver after a crash near Hampstead Heath yesterday.
The 61-year-old woman’s BMW collided with another car in Hampstead Lane, near the junction with Courtenay Avenue, shortly after 3pm.
A team of firefighters broke open the roof to release the woman before she was rushed to hospital by ambulance with a broken arm and concussion.
Police made no arrests.
