Fire sweeps through Highgate home

Three people have been forced to flee a Highgate home after a fire tore through it this afternoon (10).
Three people have been forced to flee a Highgate home after a fire tore through it this afternoon (10).
Some 30 firefighters are battling the blaze a four storey terrace house in Highgate Road, which began shortly before 3pm and has been raging for nearly an hour.
The spokesman for the London Fire Brigade said around 60 per cent of the third floor of the house is alight.
Two men and a woman are being treated for smoke inhalation by paramedics.
