The O2 shopping centre has cancelled all Vue Cinema showings tonight - including the first screenings of new James Bond film Spectre – due to the Finchley Road fire still raging through a shop and block of flats

In a joint decision with emergency services, the O2 Centre has closed the cinema “in the interests of public safety”.

Centre manager Jason King had previously stated the cinema would remain open.

More than 1,000 people had bought cinema tickets tonight.

The continued closure of Finchley Road has left customers who drove to the 02 Centre this morning stranded as they are currently not able to drive out of the car park.
