Lauderdale House in Highgate is fundraising with the Co-op to provide more arts sessions for young people.

The Tudor-era house, which sits in the picturesque Waterlow Park, was chosen by the Co-op as one of its local fundraising partners.

This means in the Co-op’s stores in Archway and Crouch End, a small percentage of your shop will be donated to Lauderdale House if you choose.

Katherine Ives, director at Lauderdale House, told the Ham&High: “We were lucky enough to be chosen by the Co-op and it’s really fantastic for us.

“The money is allowing us to run a series of further concerts out on the Tea Lawn, where for two years we have been doing creative arts sessions with young people, and this will help us continue that.”

Lauderdale House also works to put arts projects on with local schools and is hoping to encourage those who would not usually be interested in the arts to head up to Highgate and get involved.
At the time of writing, the Co-op project has raised more than £5,200 for the charity.
