Bean bags were hurled into the air while tantalising smells from a vibrant food market filled a Kentish Town street at an annual summer festival.
Families gathered at the annual Queen’s Crescent Summer Festival on Saturday (August 2) to enjoy more than 20 stalls serving up delicious international food and to listen to music performed on stage.
Elderly group The Inbetweeners, made up of people who attend a daily luncheon club at Queen’s Crescent Community Association (QCCA), sang golden oldies before 12-year-old Jasmina Sywak was crowned joint winner of annual talent competition, Camden’s Got Talent.
Children threw bean bags and took part in an egg-and-spoon race as part of traditional sports day games.
Business development manager at QCCA, Sima Awad, said: “It’s one day catered for all ages of the community, which every year gets everyone together.”
