STUDENTS at Camden School for Girls had the chance to quiz the step-sister of Anne Frank about her Holocaust experiences.

Eva Schloss (pictured) survived the atrocity after spending nine months in the Auschwitz-Birkenau death camp, but could not talk about her experiences for more than 40 years.

Year 9 religious education students, who have been studying the Holocaust, watched the play And Then They Came For Me, by Nic Careem, and afterwards put their questions to Ms Schloss.

Lorne Charles, head of religious studies, said: "We were very pleased that the play was staged and that Eva was able to come.

"We felt very privileged. It was very successful and the girls really appreciated it.

"The girls were thrilled to be able to ask questions and very pleased to have met her.
