A pair of top Saracens rugby players visited Highgate Primary School to share their skills with the oval ball.
England international Mouritz Botha and Italy prop Carlos Nieto played rugby with children at the school, in Storey Road, North Hill, Highgate, last Tuesday.
The players visit rewarded pupils for supporting London’s Air Ambulance. During National Air Ambulance Week 2012, around 400 pupils wore red as part of the competition in support of London’s Air Ambulance.
Highgate Primary entered after ambulance pilot Andrew Thompson talked to the children about his job.
Headteacher Dean Williams said: “The charity captured the children’s imagination. After the pilot’s talk, every single child came to school wearing red.”
