Portland Place school students returned to school this morning to collect their GCSE results, with most being more than satisfied with what they found.
An impressive 85 percent of students achieved five or more A* to C grades, a record for the school, while several students secured A*/A grades across the board.
And headmaster David Hyman, who last week saw his A-level students score a 100pc pass rate, praised the versatility of his GCSE students:
“It is pleasing that students have made excellent progress, balancing the demands of their academic studies with full participation in our outstanding extra-curricular programme of creative arts and sports,” he said.
