A Parliament Hill School pupil scooped an impressive 16 A*s and As in her GCSEs last week after sitting several of them aged just 13.

Aspiring medic Idhil Jama, now 16, said she chose to sit seven of her exams early because she found her schoolwork “unchallenging” at the ages of 13 and 14.

But instead of resting on her laurels when it came round to taking her remaining four subjects, she decided to sit nine more exams.

She will limit herself to just four A-levels in mathematics, biology, chemistry and English literature nezt year, but she has not yet decided where to study at sixth-form.

Idhil, of Albany Road, Regent’s Park, wants to follow her aunt, a GP in The Netherlands, into medicine.

Idhil said: “I’ve always had a really strong sense of drive and I push myself to the limit.”
