More than 1,000 people enjoyed a day with shadow puppets, clowns and bouncy castles to celebrate parents at a Camden secondary school.
Visitors to the annual event at Haverstock School, in Haverstock Hill, Chalk Farm, were spoilt for choice for things to do as they watched music and dancing, took turns on the bouncy castle, tried wall-climbing or had their faces painted.
The Celebrating Parents and Carers day, on Saturday, was themed around volunteering and wellbeing, with stalls offering information about the topics.
The free event, which last year welcomed more than 1,500 parents and children through the doors, was organised by Camden Council and run by volunteers, many of whom were either Haverstock School pupils or parents.
