The behaviour of pupils at a secondary school hit with a scathing Ofsted report last year has been “transformed,” according to inspectors.
A surprise follow-up inspection earlier this month at Acland Burghley School in Tufnell Park found that senior leaders and governors are “taking effective action” to improve the school.
The school was downgraded from “good” to “requires improvement” by Ofsted inspectors in October 2013 and was heavily criticised for its poor student behaviour.
However, behaviour has now been “transformed” and the school is “back in the right direction”, according to inspector Mark Phillips.
