Actor Michael Palin has helped a Kentish Town primary school celebrate a borough-wide award for inclusion.
The Monty Python star, who is patron of Carlton Primary School in Grafton Road, visited on November 2 as the school received the Camden Award for Inclusion.
The school was selected after interviews with pupils, parents and staff, and it comes after three years of rising academic attainment.
Headteacher Jacqueline Phelan said: “This is a very special award for Carlton which recognises the inclusive ethos of the school.”
Cllr Larraine Revah, Camden cabinet member for children, schools and families, added: “They go out of their way to make sure that each pupil can achieve their potential.”
