LaSWAP sixth form consortium, the longest-standing sixth form consortium in London, was yesterday celebrating an impressive set of A-level across its network of school.
The consortium, which includes La Sainte Union, William Ellis, Acland Burghley and Parliament Hill sixth forms, had a 99% pass rate from its students.
Leader of Camden council, Sarah Hayward, joined students at the Le Sainte Union site as all four college’s collected their results, which included some impressive case studies.
Among these was William Ellis pupil Chinedu Kalu, who achieved the grades he needed to secure him a place on the Aerospace Engineering with Pilot Studies course at the University of West England in Bristol.
Commenting on his results, Chinedu said:
“I’m really pleased as I’ve been interested in flying since becoming an RAF air cadet at thirteen and now I want to go on to be a pilot.”
Students from the four schools will now go on to study a range of subjects at universities across the country. These include Oxford University, Leeds and Royal Holloway to name just a few.
