Students at Henrietta Barnett School have achieved a record number of top grades in the GCSE results they collected this morning.
All students achieved A* to C grades, or a 9-4 pass in English or maths under the new grading system, while almost 80per cent or grades were A*s. This morning’s results also saw 96pc of students bagging 7 to 9 grades in English or maths.
Del Cooke, who is headteacher of the Hampstead Garden Suburb School, said: “Huge congratulations to our Year 11 students and their teachers on these wonderful results.
“They are an impressive year group who have worked very hard but also been thoroughly involved in extra-curricular activities, including music, drama, sport and many others. We are extremely proud of them and very much look forward to working with them in the sixth form.”
