A pensioner revisited her Hampstead schooldays when she signed up for a class on social media led by pupils who attend her old school.
South Hampstead High School alumna Cordelia Grimwood and eight other seniors were taught how to send a Tweet, take a picture on phone app Instagram, search the internet, send emails and set up their own Facebook accounts.
The class was part of a course at JW3 community centre in Finchley Road run by pupils studying at the school, in Maresfield Gardens.
Ms Grimwood said of the pupils: “They are knowledgeable and patient. They taught me specific things and I was able to practice Facebook and email. I would like two hours each week! What a fun, brilliant session.”
