Record results were achieved for the fourth year in a row by Quintin Kynaston’s sixth-formers.
Nearly three quarters of the Finchley Road school’s A-level grades this year were marked at A*-Ck, while more than a fifth received top A* or A grades.
Top achievers included Emilio McAllister-Fognini, who scored A* A* A and will go on to read physics at UCL, as well as Mohammed El Fadil who will study engineering at Imperial College after scoring an A*AA mark.
“The effort and dedication shown by students this year has been remarkable and they have demonstrated true resilience,” said Quintin Kynaston ‘s head of sixth form, Katie Carr. “I am immensely proud of all of their achievements and have watched in awe as they have matured into hard-working and ambitious young people. Not only have our results continued to improve, we are also sending more and more students to a number of the best iniversities in the country.”
Head teacher Alex Atherton added: “Once again our results have improved due to the hard work and dedication of both students and teachers. The resilience they have shown in what is the toughest year of their education to date is deeply impressive, whilst their aspiration to achieve top university places on prestigious courses is a tribute to their educational journey here at Quintin Kynaston.”
