Henrietta Barnnett School’s students are set to achieve great things, according to headteacher Del Cooke.
Of the students collecting their A-level exam results yesterday, 75per cent of them achieved A* or A grades – a figure which dwarfs the national average. There was an 100pc pass rate at the school, with 43pc of grades A*s and 94pc of grades between A* and B.
Mrs Cooke said: “We are delighted that our students and their dedicated teachers have once again achieved impressive results. Of course examinations are only one part of education and the year group has also been fully involved in the extensive extra-curricular life of the school.
“We wish them well as they head off to top universities to study a wide range of subjects. They will undoubtedly go on to achieve great things.”
