A MEETING is to be held this week for the parents of children who have been offered places at the new Courthope Road education centre.
Families will meet to discuss the set-up of a PTA as well as arrangements for the new school, including the uniform.
The council also announced this week that Gospel Oak Primary School, situated just down the road, has agreed to keep an eye on the new school.
Schools boss Cllr Andrew Mennear said: "We are in a far better place with this new Courthope Road school that we were three weeks ago but we will still be applying for government money set aside for new primary schools next month."
The temporary school will be set up in All Hallows church hall, until recently occupied by the independent Hampstead Hill School. At last count, 22 children had accepted places.
