Some 1,500 intrepid Highgate School pupils donned their boots for a walk around Hampstead Heath to raise an estimated 40,000 for a school in Uganda yesterday (Wednesday, October 19).
Children joined sixth formers and teachers in the hike, which the North Road school undertakes every two years.
Teacher John Lewis said: “It is great to see the entire foundation come together on the Heath.
“There is a definite sense of togetherness, and it is all for a good cause.”
