A special needs school has been rated “outstanding” for the fifth time in a row.
Swiss Cottage School Development and Research Centre, in Avenue Road, Swiss Cottage, was given the top grade by Ofsted on Thursday after an inspection was carried out in January.
Inspectors found that the school “is a happy and well-maintained community” and that it “meets fully its key aim of providing an education that develops pupils’ self-confidence, their strategies and skills for successful learning and their ability to use them in all aspects of life”.
Principal Kay Bedford said: “We are justifiably proud of this achievement and it is a good recognition of the hard work and dedication of the learners, staff and parents.”
