Students and staf at Quintin Kynaston school had reason to be happy today as they once again improved on the previous years’ GCSE performance.
The school saw a seven percent increase, to 61pc, in the number of students achieving five A* to C’s (including English and maths), and boasted twelve students who achieved straight A* and A grades.
“This is another significant step forward for QK,” said headteacher Alex Atherton, who also celebrated a great set of A-level results last week.
“Both results days have given us reason to celebrate, not least because they show the year groups coming through the school are doing even better. I am very proud of what the students and staff have achieved. The outcomes are a tribute to their dedication and quality of work.”
